Privacy Policy
Effective 8 October 2026
The short version
Our tools run on your device. We don't sell your data, show you ads or track you across apps. When an app connects to your Google account, it uses that data only to do what you asked, and it doesn't send it to us.
Who we are
This policy covers the website trinvh.com and the apps published by Tri NVH, including Hexkit, Flick and any app that offers "Sign in with Google" (together, the "Services"). If you have questions, write to info@trinvh.com.
What we collect
The website
- trinvh.com uses no cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
- The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads. See Google's privacy policy.
- The contact form opens your own email app. We receive only what you choose to send us by email, and use it only to reply to you.
Hexkit
Hexkit works entirely offline. Everything you paste or generate stays on your computer. It makes no network calls of its own, has no accounts and sends no telemetry.
Flick
Flick talks to your TV directly over your local network. It has no accounts, no ads and no analytics. Pairing details are stored only on your phone. If you use voice search, your voice is streamed to your TV and handled by your TV's assistant under that provider's terms; we never receive it. Google Play may collect crash and diagnostic data for apps installed through it, under Google's privacy policy.
Google user data
Some of our apps let you sign in with Google so they can work with your Google files, such as reading or editing a Google Doc you choose. When you grant access:
- What we access: only the permissions (scopes) shown on the Google consent screen, and only the files or data needed for the action you started.
- How we use it: only to provide the feature you asked for, such as showing or updating a document. We don't use it for anything else.
- Where it goes: the data travels directly between your device and Google. It is not sent to or stored on Tri NVH servers. The sign-in token is stored on your device so you don't have to sign in every time.
- Sharing: we don't sell, rent or share Google user data with anyone. We don't use it for advertising, and we don't use it to build user profiles or to train AI or machine-learning models.
- People: no one at Tri NVH reads your Google data, unless you explicitly ask us to help with a support issue and share it with us yourself.
- Removing access: you can sign out in the app, delete the app's local data, or revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep data
Data that stays on your device is kept until you delete it or uninstall the app. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to answer you, and you can ask us to delete them.
Security
All connections to our website and to Google use HTTPS. Because our apps keep data on your device, protecting that device (screen lock, disk encryption, updates) also protects your data.
Children
Our Services are not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Since we hold almost none, the quickest route is to email info@trinvh.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use Google user data, we'll ask for your consent again before it applies.
